CHICAGO, IL — Good Gals announces its formal launch as a private, curated community of women whose roles place them at the highest levels of leadership, capital, and institutional influence.
The community traces its origins to the inaugural cohort of the MIT Sloan School of Management Women on Boards Program, where a small group of women formed relationships grounded in shared responsibility and perspective. From that foundation, Good Gals has evolved into a carefully assembled circle of leaders who recognize both the privilege and the obligation that comes with their position.
This is a setting defined by discernment. Participation is considered, relationships are intentional, and engagement is grounded in substance. The purpose is to create a trusted environment where accomplished women can think together, act with alignment, and extend their collective reach in ways that are both meaningful and enduring.
“We came together with a clear understanding of what is required at this level,” said Lupe C. Rodriguez. “The women in this community are already entrusted with significant responsibility. What has been missing is a place to engage one another with the depth, rigor, and discretion that such responsibility demands.”
The work of the community is expressed through a focused set of priorities.
Capital is directed with care, supporting initiatives and leaders who reflect long term value and sound judgment.
Visibility is cultivated with intention, ensuring that women of substance are present in the arenas where decisions are shaped.
Governance is advanced through thoughtful engagement with institutions, strengthening leadership pathways and standards of accountability.
Following its formal launch, Good Gals is now convening a series of gatherings globally, each held privately and by invitation. These convenings are designed to deepen relationships, exchange perspectives, and foster alignment among participants within a trusted setting.
