Guadalupe “Lupe” Catarina Rodriguez is an institutional investor, board director, and governance strategist with more than three decades of experience across global private markets, family offices, entrepreneurship, and U.S. public service.
As Chief Investment Officer of NorthLight single-family office, Rodriguez leads investment strategy and capital allocation across private markets, with a focus on long-term value creation, direct investment, and strategic opportunities. She also serves in board and advisory roles across investment and operating organizations, bringing together capital strategy, governance, and institutional leadership.
Rodriguez is also the founder of the Good Governance Institute, which works with families and institutions on governance, succession, stewardship, and generational preparedness. Her work focuses on a central question: how do families build, govern, and transition capital so that it creates enduring value across generations?
Her career spans venture capital, private equity, private credit, real assets, direct investments, and co-investments. Prior to NorthLight, she held senior investment and strategy leadership roles within a global single-family office, including serving as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.
Earlier in her career, Rodriguez spent more than a decade in Washington, D.C., working across government, regulatory affairs, and public policy, including service connected to two U.S. presidential administrations.
She has founded investment and leadership platforms focused on expanding women’s participation in capital and ownership and regularly contributes to global conversations on private capital, family enterprise, governance, and generational transition.
